Rental terms
The agreement you sign at delivery, in plain English. Version alrity-2026-11-01.
The short version
- Documents 48 hours before delivery. Passport, driving licence, return flight and your hotel or villa booking, all in your name. Without them we cancel the booking.
- Only you ride it. With a valid motorcycle licence. Never lend or hand it to anyone else. If our rider sees you can't ride safely at delivery, we cancel and refund you in full.
- No insurance: damage is yours to pay. At the fixed prices below, or the real repair bill if it's higher. Injuries and damage to others are your responsibility too.
- Accident? Photos first, then tell us. Photos and video of the scooter, the scene and any other vehicle and plate, before anything is moved.
- Lock it, keep the key. Stolen? Tell us within 6 hours, hand back every key and come with us to the police. Stolen with the key left in it, unlocked or after losing the key: you pay its value.
- Fines, towing and impound are yours. Traffic tickets, parking fines, towing and police release fees. An impounded scooter is not a stolen one.
- Back on time. A late return is charged as one extra day. No refunds for days you don't use.
- Public roads in Bali only. No beaches, floods or off-road tracks. Taking it off the island is reported to the police as theft.
Damage prices
What you pay if something is broken or missing when the scooter comes back. Normal wear and tear is on us, and marks already in the handover photos are never charged. We tell you the repair cost by WhatsApp or email, with photos. If a repair costs more than the list, you pay the real bill and see the receipt. While the scooter is being repaired after an accident, you also pay the daily rent for those days.

Full terms
Documents and rider
- At least 48 hours before delivery, send us your passport or ID, your driving licence, your return flight ticket and your hotel or villa booking for the whole stay, all in the same name as the booking. We contact you on your number to check them. If they're missing, the booking is cancelled.
- At delivery, show us the original passport or licence.
- You need a valid motorcycle licence: your home licence with an International Driving Permit (motorcycle category), or an Indonesian SIM C.
- Only you may ride the scooter. You may not lend, rent or hand it to anyone else.
- Our rider checks that you can ride safely. If not, we cancel the booking and refund anything you paid.
Delivery and return
- Give us the delivery and return place at least 48 hours ahead. We call or message you to confirm it; without it the booking can be cancelled.
- Return the scooter at the agreed time. A late return is charged as one extra day (24 hours).
- Return it in the condition you received it, apart from normal wear and tear.
Payment and cancellation
- Prices are in Indonesian rupiah. Pay by cash or local bank transfer; for a transfer, send us a photo of the receipt on WhatsApp. Your booking is confirmed once we've received the money.
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the delivery time; we refund within 2 working days. Cancelling later than that is not refunded.
- There are no refunds or credits for unused days.
No insurance: your responsibility
- The scooter is not insured. You are responsible for any damage to it, its loss, and for injury or damage to yourself and anyone else while you rent it. We are not liable for any damage, loss, injury or death during the rental.
- Always at your cost: punctured or flat tyres; a battery drained by leaving the scooter switched on; damage from riding on beaches, in floods, off-road or on private land; anyone else riding it; riding under alcohol, drugs or medicine that affects your riding.
- You pay the damage prices below, or the real repair bill if it's higher, plus the daily rent while the scooter is in the workshop after an accident. Damage includes tyres, wheels, body panels, lights, helmets, phone holder, keys and accessories.
Accidents
- An accident is any unplanned event on the road where the scooter hits or is hit by a vehicle, person or object, or you lose control and it's damaged.
- Tell us straight away. Before anything is moved, take clear photos and videos of the scooter, the place, the road and any other vehicle with its plate and the driver's details.
Theft
- It is not theft, and you pay the scooter's full market value, if it's taken while left with the key in or near it, left unlocked or running, after the key was lost, or after you gave the key to someone else.
- If it's stolen: tell us within 6 hours of noticing, hand back every key we gave you, and go with us to the police to file the report (Laporan Polisi) together. If you can't return the keys or don't come to the police, you pay the full market value.
Fines, towing and impound
- You pay every traffic fine (including ETLE camera tickets), parking ticket and official penalty during the rental.
- If the police or local officials tow, impound or seize the scooter because of how you used it (for example illegal parking, no helmet or no licence), you pay the towing, release and administration costs. A seized scooter is not a stolen one.
Where you can ride, and help on the road
- Bali only. Taking the scooter off the island is reported to the police as theft, at your cost.
- Unlimited kilometres. Copies of the scooter's papers are under the seat.
- Roadside help covers our delivery areas; outside them or after hours it may cost extra.
- If we approve a repair and you pay for it during the rental (for example brakes), we pay you back at return, or within 2 days.
Things outside our control
- We're not responsible for delays or problems caused by events we can't control, such as natural disasters, government action, unrest, crime, power, internet or phone failures.
