All three of our scooters fit two people, but they feel quite different on Bali's roads. Here's how to choose.
Yamaha NMAX: the comfortable all-rounder
A big seat, a flat floor for your feet and room under the seat for a helmet and a bag. It's smooth on longer rides, like Canggu to Uluwatu, and easy to ride in traffic. Our best pick for most couples.
Aprilia SR GT 200: for hills and day trips
200 cc, taller suspension and bigger wheels. It climbs the Bukit and the roads around Ubud easily with two people, and handles rougher roads better. Choose it if you plan long day trips around the island.
Vespa LX 150: the classic
Easy to ride, light and beautiful in photos. Perfect for cafés and sunset rides around Canggu and Seminyak. Less comfortable on long, hilly rides with two.
